Group Halloween Costumes For 2016

Here are my favorite group Halloween costumes for 2016 and themes that work for kids and adults. Every year I do group  Halloween costumes on KTLA Morning News and this year included kids, moms and dads wearing costumes from Nickelodeon shows, movies and even a DIY mermaid costume.

Ghostbusters Costumes

Sam and Sophia dressed as the old and new Ghostbusters while their dad Max was inflated to become the Stay Puft Marshmallow man. ghostbusters kid costume

I nabbed the marshmallow man costume from JCPenney. You can still get your costumes in time for Halloween.

DIY Mermaid Costume

We tested out the new Cricut Explore Air 2 to create DIY Mermaid costumes and we added some color to Charley’s hair with Splat Hair Chalk.

Willy Wonka and Oompa Loompa Costumes

Sam Rubin, the entertainment reporter for KTLA dressed as an Oompa Loompa from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and his son dressed as Willy Wonka. He carried his glow in the dark Halloween tote from Lands’ End just in case you thought his green hair wasn’t enough attention getting.
