I adore the writing, the topics and the comedy that comes with the hit ABC show Black-ish. I got the chance to have a girl power talk with the cast of Black-ish when they were honored as part of the Inspiration Awards to benefit Step Up, a non-profit organization that mentors teen girls from under-resourced communities. I asked Tracee Ellis Ross, Yara Shahidi and Marcus Scribner what they would say to themselves in the mirror to build their confidence. Watch the video to see watch each had to say about female empowerment and positive thinking.
