VIDA Collaboration with Style Expert Alison Deyette
Here’s the first video in the style series of how to take one artistic top, this one’s by painter Bar Ben Vakil, and wear it three ways. I hope this will inspire you to experiment with your wardrobe.

Artist Bar Ben Vakil’s “Chaos in Everything” is bold and vibrant. When it comes to style, never be afraid of color; it’s always better to stand out!
First, I styled an outfit that clearly says “power player.” A chic tailored black blazer with white accents from Basler with defined shoulders and a nipped in waist. I paired it with a pencil skirt from Milly that has a leather waistband and side slit. It’s all about the construction and details of these pieces that when put together with the top from Vida, the overall look is strong and sexy.
Next, while jeans will work with any top from Vida, this time I chose a high waist flare in a denim hue from AELLA. They have the most incredible pants for every body shape. I topped it off with a grey cropped leather jacket from Halston Heritage that meets the high waist pants and balances her curves and added grey suede heels from J. Crew to give her height.
For the third look in the VIDA style series, I captured painter Bar Ben Vakil’s vision at it’s most exuberant. It’s all about the burst of color from head-to-toe starting with a kelly green cardigan tucked into a royal blue skirt, belted with a pink skinny belt and finished with pink strappy sandals. This outfit is not shy. It says, “I’m living a vibrant life.”

I’m wearing photographer Ike Edeani’s “Floating Timber” design. This is one of those tops that regularly gets a second glance when you add it to your outfits. It’s a conversation starter on what the image reveals. You can see and shop for more of my stylist picks from VIDA and get 15% off with the discount code for Vida by using: ALISONDEYETTE
